Just some random thoughts...
EA is just sending you a refurbished piece of equipment. It was broke already, they fix it and send it out to someone else. With all the trouble we're having already (r.i.p drums!), perhaps it would be wise to extend this warranty, much like Microsoft did for the red ring of death....
Actually, my biggest concern is the lack of individual instruments being for sale in 2 months time (The only date I've heard is "First Quarter of '08" which is anywhere from Jan. to March). If my warranty is expired and there are only bundles on the shelves, what am I gonna' do if just ONE of my instruments take a poo?....
