The Fender's Strap

I'm a big guy, and pretty tall too. The thin, short straps that came with GH's SG sucked, I had to go out and buy an actual guitar strap just to get the guitar sitting below my chest, lol.

So I'm wondering what kind of strap the RB fender will come with. The drums are shipping with actual drum sticks so I'd like to see a bigger, more comfortable guitar strap too.

I agree. I'm not as tall so the length problem doesn't matter to me, but I'd definitely like to see something that has a little more padding so the strap doesn't hurt your neck after playing for 15 minutes.

well, you can't really blame him for never picking up an instrument with a shoulder strap, or never paying attention to the way anyone holds one, now can you?

i think its understandable. my sister made the same exact mistake, wearing the strap completely around her neck before i showed her proper.

well anyway, the right way to wear a guitar strap is to wear it over your shoulder, not around your neck :o
for those who may have accidentally somehow coincidentally, maybe, kind of think they could have slept through that lesson in Shredding 101. :D

The straps on the official Wireless guitars for GH had a much longer strap that the original SG. I'm a bigger guy as well and it the original SG always bothered me because it wouldn't sit as low as I'd like, even when I made as loose as it would go. When I got my two wireless guitars though, I made them as loos as possible without think and the damn thing was almost to my knees. lol. As long as the Strat has a strap like the wireless guitars, I'll be happy.

Yeah i got those a few times.. i just used my guitar strap wich was Wider and softer

I bought the cheapest strap I could find and it sucks, so the bits that connect to the guitar have started fraying away, now the strap is always unexpectedly coming off half way through games... damn my stingeyness!

Yeah, i understand cost will be an issue for the Fender, but could we add a little more cushioning to the strap this time? I'm not asking for anything really nice, but a little comfort wouldn't hurt.
