I am a punk fan, always have bin. So it is in order for me to say the punk on Rock band is... well hardly halfway to pop-punk. So I will give you my play list with a good bit of punk, then other stuff that I just like and I think others will like too.

In my opinion Rock Band could use:

Suicide Machines: Its the End of the world as we know it
Suicide Machines: High anxiety
Leftover Crack (or Choking Victim): Born to Die
GBH: Crush'em
Dead 50's: This is the Life
The Generators: Point Of No Return
ADD (Another Damn Disappointment): Ignorance Is Bliss
Filthy Thieving Bastards: Dumb Dead Goats
Billy Joel: We Didn't Start The Fire
3 Inches Of Blood: Deadly Sinners
Rubber City Rebels: I Wanna Pierce My Brain
Dropkick Murphys: (just a large set of there songs allot of them)
Dope: (if you can find any original songs by them without cursing)
Dope: (cover) You Spin me right round
Daft Punk: Technologic (aka vocal murder if done right)
Snowden: Anti Anti
Black Mages: Otherworld
The Wombats: Lets Dance to Joy Devision
Stance Punks: No Boy, No Cry
Asian Kung-Fu Generation: Rewrite
Bowling for Soup: The ***** Song
(for a SICK NASTY hard song)Maximum the Hormone:Whats up people!?
Birthday Massacre: Blue
Mastodon: Crusher Destroyer
NOFX: (A full set of there songs but if all else fails look down)
NoFX: Separation of Church and Skate
Sum41: (allot of there songs would be cool)
Suicidal Tendencies: Institutionalized

Bowling for Soup, Sum 41, Daft Punk, 3 Inches of Blood, Billy Joel and Mastodon are punk? Don't get me wrong, I love them, but they are hardly punk.

All that aside, real punk would be sweet. GBH's "Big Women" some Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Kennedys or possibly The Adolescents would kick ass! :D

Institutionalized would be amazing for every instrument, but especially vocals.

some social d, green day, and a little more bad religion would be cool

Green Day is pop punk so it doesn't really fit in here

I think you should rename this thread, "Needs pop-punk, more of it."

We need a lot more 80s Hardcore California Punk.

Institutionalized would be amazing for every instrument, but especially vocals.

RB needs to Dead Kennedys. My vote goes to 'Stars and Stripes of Corruption' from Frankenchrist. However California Uber Alles would be great.

Howabout some Black Flag? TV Party anyone?

We could also use some X, MDC and Misfits.

Yes, yes, and more HELL YES.

Just edit your original post and put in bold that these aren't all punk and that they are just general songs you want for the game

No. They aren't pop-punk either: (the style popularized by the Vindictives and the Vandal's love for the Ramones.)

Simple Plan is a pop band and Good Charlotte is a pop-rock band.

Well, if we're talking about "real" punk, I'm down for some Stooges, Pennywise and The Damned. And, as someone else pointed out, Bad Brains. And, yes, some Suicidal Tendencies would be great, too.

It's, probably, best to stop now, before my post gets out of hand.
