Rock Band 2 Standard Drums

I've been seeing vids and stuff of the thing being Wireless;

But Im not a fan of wireless so I was wondering if the Rock Band 2 Drums are also wired as well? Or are they strictly Wireless?

I believe they are strickly wireless if you want wired you'll have to get RB1 drums. At least for now maybe they will make them wired some day but since many people have complained that RB1 drums were wired that they wanted wireless, I doubt it.
