Okay now before anyone makes fun of me or says "this game isn't meant for a controller" I would like to explain that I have a disability that makes it hard for me to play the drums. My roommate and I split the cost of the game and he's good at it but I pretty much am limited to singing. Is there any way to play the instruments with a controller? I tried last night but it wouldn't work. Is there a workaround?

Can you hit the drum pads but not the kick drum pedal? If that's the case, maybe you can put the kick pedal between your thighs, or under your arm, under your butt, sit on the couch and put it up to your head like a pillow or your side and press against it, anywhere you could depress the pedal. Get creative! I hope that helps!

It sucks because you could use the controller in guitar hero. I think that not being able to use the controller is taking a step backwards. I understand they want people to buy their peripherals, and anyone who is physically able would want to anyway. But there are a small percentage of gamers who have a difficult time with these kind of things and still want to enjoy the game as much as anyone else. Anyway, just my thoughts. FYI, I was just playing it at lunch and I accidentally hit the red B button when a song started and I noticed it registered a hit on the Red pad.. so I think if you use the Drum peripheral controller itself, you MIGHT be okay. I can look further at that tonight if no one knows for sure. Though if there's an issue with getting near the drum peripheral all together, yeah, I dunno.

I would also say that,w hile I don't know the disability, the pads do not require a hard hit at all, tapping works. Also the vast majority of the effort is Yellow, the Red, then Blue then Green. So for the less difficult songs, you can pass stuff with just yellow and red.. but yeah I dunno about the kick drum.. I thought if it was disconnected it just registered.. though I'd kind of hope not due to leaderboards and such...

hey man, sorry to bother you, but i just got the game and i was wondering if you could tell me how to make a post. I don't know where to put the website code they give you in the game. I wanted to ask people but i can't make a post. Can you help me? Thanks
