Sorry, if you're looking for the game that releases not-too-disappointing albums from washed-up bands, it's over there.
Here at Rock Band, we get classic albums.

The endless production of this album has pretty much ruined the future of any GnR for me. Put Appetite in DLC and let GnR RIP.

YES! I love this, I truly hope it all goes to DLC... nothing better imo than GnFnR!

Thoughts that went through my head:
Full album guarenteed to be DLC
Reissue of Appetite on Vinyl hopefully means we'll get some or all of it in RB2
Axl Rose is still a douche and I will not give him money. If I get any tracks from this album, it won't be through ways that benefit him.

From article:
"In addition, GNR's seminal 1987 debut, "Appetite for Destruction," will be reissued on vinyl on Oct. 28 via Interscope."
Would be nice to have the album in Rock Band as a promotional tie-in. Consider that my conspiracy theory for 10-28 when we get to that.

Well it's definately news for gnr fans, I'd be more psyched about appetite for destruction bein released on rockband than axl rose trying to beat the dead horse, it's not gnr since slash split. And even if they re-united axl just doesn't have it, comon he has cornrolls now.

Is there still issues with getting early GnR into the band because of Slash?

Best Buy exclusive? Of course, my city doesn't have a Best Buy and the closest one is almost an hour away.

Definitely NOT guaranteed DLC album.
Guaranteed is Harmonix announcing it. There hasn't been any kind of rumor floating around that Harmonix has more tracks. I won't oppose older G'n'R tracks though, that could be a legitimate debate

When people say guaranteed they mean there's no doubt in their mind that it'll happen. Of course it might not happen, but I think it definitely will, mostly because Axl Rose chose RB2 to debut the first song from the album.

Heck, if Buckethead walked into a store to claim it without the kabuki mask and KFC bucket, nobody could prove it was him :)

I'll believe this when I see the CD in a store rack and not before.

They left out Canada so no free Dr. Pepper for me.
Speaking of being left out there's no Best Buy here so I couldn't buy it at the store even if I wanted to so I hope it'll be RB DLC. Shackler's Revenge actually turned out kinda fun on vocals despite hating it on guitar and bass.

I actually like the new stuff from GnR. I just wish it was a different band name so people would stop calling it bad just because it doesn't sound like old GnR (I know there are some people who just think it's bad to begin with...).
I'll get the album DLC and IRL. And Axl says he'll give Buckethead a Dr.Pepper because some of this work will appear on the album.

At this point, the could release a bluegrass album, and it'd still sell like hotcakes. I have listened to the leaks, and I enjoyed most of it. Nowhere near as good as the old GnR, but it was still pretty enjoyable. I'll probably be picking it up. And my free Dr. Pepper.
