The RB name filter for bands is pretty tight... I made a band called "Push it to the limit" and it told me it wasnt "classy"... anyone else have some perfectly fine band names not go through?

I haven't tried anything that gets stopped by the filter, but my fiance wanted to name our band "Poke the Kitty" because she was poking our sleeping cat while I was creating the band. She changed her mind rather quickly once I explained the double meaning there. :D

It may be that there are too many spaces in that name you tried. Most successful bands have one or two word names.

my character's name is jizza. I have used that name for every video game character name for years. (My name is james. I figured snoop dogg would say jizzames. So I just shortened it) It never occurred to me that it was inappropriate until Rock Band pointed it out to me.

It obviously doesn't know the Tenacious D reference.

Yeah, this filter is messed up. It wouldn't let me use "Neptune" in my character's name. What do they have against Neptune? It's a pretty cool planet.

For the sake of asking, can somebody see if a band with the word "suicide" gets past the filter for me?

It would be a shame if my bro and I had to abandon our longstanding band name.

Heh, I created a character named Hugh G. Wreckshin, no problems there :D And my friend made another character with an obscene word that started with a D. I didn't even know there was a filter until I had read this.
