TOOL must be in this game!

This is my first post on these forums, so I wanted to start out here with a bang. I'm a huge fan of Harmonix and all of their games, especially the GH games. When I first heard they were making Rock Band, the first and most obvious band suggestion that popped into my mind was the band I've been pining to have in the Guitar Hero series...and that band just happens to be my favorite band of all time: Tool. They are a perfect fit for the concept behind Rock Band, imo. Each element of the band is so distinct and so talented, that any Tool song could be implemented in the game with resounding success. I'll just list a few tracks that I think would be insanely fun and challenging to play in the game.

First and fore-most: Lateralus (from Lateralus)

then...

Schism ( from Lateralus)
Sober (from Undertow)
Forty-Six and 2 (from Aenima)
The Pot (from 10,000 Days)
Vicarious (from 10,000 Days)
Stinkfist (from Aenima)


But just about any Tool song would work great. If any of you guys at Harmonix are reading this, please take notice! Maybe Tool are out of reach license-wise, but it would just be incredible to feature them in this game... and it would almost definitely need to have the original master tracks for the song, since I can't see anyone covering Tool with any great degree of success...especially the vocals.

Anyway, just thought I would toss it out there. Regardless, I can't wait for the game!

I read somewhere on Tools site that they would very much like to be in the game, or something along those lines. Either way, All the parts of Tool are so incredibly diverse, from the incredible vocals, bass lines, guitar and drums. All blend so seamlessly.

Bottom line, they are an amazing band that HMX should really consider going after. And I know that thousands of other people agree with me on this.

I heard they were going to be a part of GH2 but due to deadlines on Harmnix part and Tool being busy touring it just didn't eventuate. Dunno if it's true or not.

Anyways, I too would absolutely love to see some Tool in RB. And some APC would be awesome as well, especially The Outsider.
