View Full Version : Did GH, GH2, etc. have hardware issues?

I was not an "early adopter" with rhythm games, and the few I own (Donkey Konga drums, two DDR pads, now GH3 for the Wii) have been rock solid. For people who play a lot of these games, are all the issues with the drums and the Strat normal? Did GH suffer from this stuff? It's too early, I'm sure, for any kind of response from HMX, but I'm just hoping this is some standard 5% failure rate thing, and of course more people with problems complain than those without.

Please, please let that be true....

GH2 for the 360 had problems with its whammy bar. It was fixed via replacements and a software patch.

GH3 had problems with the detachable neck and certain fret buttons being unresponsive.

RB takes those problems and slaps a magnifying glass on them because we have FOUR different wads of hardware to contend with (guitar, mike, drums, USB hub). Any one of them can have failures. So I'm not surprised EA is taking a very lenient stance on replacement parts... it's bound to happen.
