Have anyone heard about this and if you haven't it's suppose to be the new currency for the US-Canada-Mexico and it might start next year around February.

The amero has been in talks for such a long time now. Feb of next year seems way too early.... I would guess maybe late 2010?
The national id card has some supporters, but unless something has changed since i last read about it there is no way it will go through.

^ Well, this "Real ID" act, as they call it, was started after 9/11 and is basically the Patriot Act one steroids. You have to have one everywhere you go; it's basically a way to keep track of you.

Those will come in really handy when the Government is finally forced to monitor all of us and make sure we don't blow all our Ameros on Rock Band DLC and become bad credit risks.

That's something a government official supporting the Amero/National ID would say.

I think it's bull****, mainly because of the sites you linked to. Show me something from an official US mint site or something and I might believe it.

A North American Union has been talked about since the 19th century, it's nothing new. So far it's just been that, talk, but with the EU and the rapid spread of free trade agreements, many see it as a inevitability in the future. But right now, I think it's mainly fodder for conspiracy theorists and ultranationalists on the Right like Lou Dobbs. Frankly, I don't know why people are surprised, corporate capitalism is all about removing barriers to trade and easing the movement of capital. Europe and the Euro have only gotten stronger after creating the EU. Not saying that I support it, just stating a fact.

Not likely. Banking mechanisms in Mexico would provide too much strain on the currency as a whole, to say nothing of their budget deficits and public debt level (which, as a share of GDP, are greater than America's). Highly unlikely that Canada and the US would ever want to lash their relatively strong currencies together with one that has a well-established history of frequent collapse.
That being said, I would not be surprised to see further economic coordination between the three countries as well as a push by Canada and the US to have Mexico conduct as much official business as possible with dollar-denominated assets (which, considering the greater role that petroleum is playing in Mexico's economy, may be easier done than said).
