Any update notes for the PS3 1.06 patch that came out today (or yesterday)?

I didn't even know another patch was coming. I havne't noticed any differences. I still get a skip at the load screen and the solo career scrolls much too slowly.

Well... Note: the latest patch broke Rock Band.

To explain, since this patch installed playing any song suffers from repeated stuttering and half second freezing constantly during any song. This occurs only since the patch, on disk songs and DLC, in 5.1 and stereo. Thanks for breaking an otherwise functional game Harmonix, please address this.

Hey I downloaded the Rockband 1.06 patch for my ps3 and everything seemed fine untile I restarted my ps3 now it gives me an error message(something about the media is no longer available) when I go to play my dlc. On disc songs work fine. It's a kind of a major problem because 1: I have like $70 worth of dlc that I would like to be able to play
2:I have a party to go to monday and everybody wants me to bring RB sooo It's kind of a time sensitive situation.

I don't try the game with the patch, and I'm afraid to do so...
But is everyone that installs the patch has the same problem?

Most people don't have problems with the patch. I haven't noticed any. I'd still like to know what changed, though.

It should've, but didn't, patch the game to keep the controller awake when you turn on the controller power-save feature of the new firmware.

So it doesn't seem like I want to download the patch, but it doesn't matter: whenever I try, it'll download to about 7~9%, then stop. Others connected to the same router are cut off, and my PS3 signs out. So...that's my issue.

No problems at all. I have an original 20GB model, though, which seems to have less issues with the patches than the newer machines.

I haven't had any problems (besides the ones I originally mentioned, but those have been there since before 1.06). I'd just like a link to some official patch notes. I don't like the idea of being forced into an update without some kind of explanation.
