Solos= confusing?

Well i was playing ride the lightning and when i get to the solo, damn it gets really confusing! too many squares i cant tell what to hit next! any one having same prob? i rather see circles than rectangles lol

im doing that now its much simpler to understand now, when i was sight reading it it was confusing!

well even if i knew the song note for note by listening to the record a million times (which i dont).. im still not good enough on the guitar controller to pull it off OR read the notes quick enough.

i was just doing practice mode on Electric Version on expert.. :O im lacking some core skills of fretting my chords.. but im getting there! .. back to drums for a bit heh.

those metallica songs are insane with the potential to be really fun.

I really wish they had put hyperspeed in. It's really annoying to play some of the faster solos on expert, especially when they throw a chord in the middle of a bunch of trills that's hard to distinguish.

It's a video game, if I had the patience to practice I'd be much better at playing my real guitars. Having to memorize something is no fun.

When GH3 first came out, I couldn't read the fatter circles to save my life. But after a week I was fine. Should be the same here. The smaller Squares are just different to your eyes, but once you learn to read them, you should be good to go. I can already see more details in the timing with the square notes then the circles, it's actually pretty rad.
