OK, we already have one - but there are far more that should be added to Rock Band. In fact, Rush is probably one of the bands that should have ALL of their albums added to Rock Band.
Anyhow, we already have Moving Pictures which was a great choice for a first album, but I think it's high time Harmonix got working on another Rush album if they haven't already started doing so (they know all us fans will buy it for sure!)
I personally would love to see the latest album Snakes and Arrows added to Rock Band. If not that, perhaps 2112, Signals or Permanent Waves (the album right before Moving Pictures).
Rush easily deserves another album in Rock Band and soon. What album would you most like to see next?

HEMISPHERES~ /thread lol
No, but seriously, with The Trees in Rock Band 2, they really should give us the rest of the album~ it's only like four songs, with Hemispheres being split into parts since it's so long.
Oh, and I don't know about all their albums being DLC~ that's a bit of a stretch. Permanent Waves would be cool too, but that's it as far as albums go for Rush. If we get Hemispheres, I think singles would be enough for more Rush after that.

But i would personally like to see stuff of their R30 live album

Rush is great, but it's another bands turn. No more Rush is needed for a while.

I'd actually like to see Snakes and Arrows as well myself. I think it's a very solid album that would work well in the game.

A 3 pack of Spirit Of The Radio, Fly By Night and 2112 would be good, but I doubt there will be anymore Rush till 2009

Again, enough Rush. There's many other bands that deserve to be in the game first.

I like it, but it's not that much of a priority for me.
Also, it has "Cygnus X-1: Book 2" on it, so I feel it fits at the end of the list because "Cygnus X-1: Book 1" is on "A Farewell To Kings".

I'm sorry your taste in music is so terrible that you would actually lament another Rush album getting released.
Oh, and I should have mentioned A Farewell to Kings. Cygnus X-1 would be epic.

I'm sorry, but Rush is the PERFECT band for this game.
The people complaining don't see it.
Neil Peart = One of the best (and loved) drummers in rock
Alex Lifeson = A REAL guitar hero
Geddy Lee = King of the bass, and vocal legend

I'm sorry your taste is so terrible that you consider Rush to be an epic band. See how that works both ways? It's called an opinion. And mine, along with many others, are under the consensus that there's been enough Rush. Now all you Rush fanboys need to realize not everyone likes them. And I doubt Moving Pictures really sold that well compared to other packs.

QFT.
I'm sick of all the Rush and the Rush fanboys. And I love me some Rush. Variety is the spice of life, my friends.
Wait until Rock Band 3 comes out, ****.

The sad thing is that the people that are "sick" of Rush have probably only heard the songs released to Rock Band (3 of which were re-releases).
Harmonix has access to Rush masters, so my philosophy is use what you got.
Yes, they have access to other bands, but when you have a good working relationship, why ruin it.
I'm sure we will see more Rush, RHCP, Megadeth, Motley Crue, etc.
Harmonix needs to take advantage of what they have.
Also, since Rush are a major Prog. rock band, they might have opened the door to getting some other Prog. bands in the game.

I don't think HMX would ruin their relationship, by saying, "We've got plenty of Rush for Rush fans, let's explore other genres, bands, etc."

Signals, Hold your Fire
For those who say there is enough Rush, It has proven to sell well as DLC, and for those who bought it, know how awesome it is for Rockband, and will buy more of it.
It has proven to be some of the best DLC to date, and has a huge following.
This thread is for those who WANT more Rush, not for those who don't.

i personally am sick of hearing their tired tracks on the radio, they are played as though they are still relevant or current, which might have been true at one point and time, but not now

hmm.. i dunno, maybe these OTHER bands would be miffed to always be passed over for some other material from a band that already received plenty of attention? I don't know why you people think having more and more of the same is a good thing, this game is for most people to enjoy, if all you guys want is Rush, get HMX to do you a Rush Rock Band so the rest of us can get something different.

Funny thing is, none of those songs were highly requested.
I've seen songs from "Permanent Waves", "A Farewell To Kings", "Fly By Night", etc. get requested by the fans more than the songs off of "Moving Pictures".

While I'd love to have 2112, HMX would have to deal with A Passage to Bangkok from a lyrical standpoint. Rush have played the Overture/Temples of Syrinx intro from 2112 as a single piece in concert, so that has precedent for being broken out, and there are some interludes that would provide a couple of other breaks. So, I think the song 2112 might make it in some form, but not the album.
Permanent Waves is, in my mind, pretty RB-friendly (Natural Science might be a stretch, eh?). And, I like Vapor Trails quite a bit. Feedback might be a fun way to bring some classic songs into the game, and add more Rush as well.
I grew up playing air guitar to All the World's a Stage, so having Rush in RB is endless fun. I don't think I'll ever get tired of some of their music. I think HMX have done a nice job with the variety of music in RB, and there'll always be room for more Rush on my Xbox.

I think only singles from here on. Other bands deserve albums, and they've had theres. Where's the Maiden?
I do want Xanadu and The Spirit Of The Radio, However. I mean I want them NOW.

Well a metalhead could argue that they haven't got any of the heavily requested metal songs. I've also heard complaints from Chili Peppers fans, Megadeth fans, Motley Crue fans, etc., but the fact of the matter is unless HMX releases the entire discography to every band, this problem will occur. Just be grateful you can play to one of your most cherished bands.

funny I Was reading this thread backwards as was willing to let it die Till I realized this statement was aimed at me. I love To know how you ascertained my musical taste based on the fact that THERE IS ENOUGH DAMN RUSH IN THE GAME. Meanwhile GH:WT actually has legendary bands such as the Doors and Hendrix. I'm not taking anything Away from Rush But get the hell over it theres enough Rush, NIN, and Weezer. For God sake is it too much to ask for some Damn Doors, Eagles, Zeppelin, or other great bands Your selfish request threatens to destroy the one thing that makes RB better then GH and thats Diversity. I have a idea, Tell them to make Rock Band: Rush and see how that sells, till then You've got more then enough Damn Rush for a life time. And I'd be satisfied if there were no more Rush songs.
