This post gives happiness to my soul. Kamelot is a great, but very unknown, power metal band, and one of my top picks for a band in this game. I would like Center of the Universe, but March of Mephisto would be good too. Hell, if they got in that would be great. And the above list of bands is superb. Symphony X, Angra, Luca Tirilli, Stratovarius etc. All amazing bands. :D

Total agreeance with you, Kamelot is a MUST for Rock Band. But the only thing that'll bother most people (Especially my immature friends) is if Center of The Universe is going to be on it, what'll happen to the female part of the song? I mean, I know it's a short couple of lines, but I wonder if they're gonna add it as part of the vocals you would sing to, or just background vocals?

Just saw this post, and YES! Kamelot is the GREATEST BAND EVER. I don't care what anyone else says - fact is that they are the best... and I would definitely love to see them on Rock Band. Back when I was obsessed with Guitar Hero III, I was talking about how they should put it on Guitar Hero. But, fact being that Rock Band is better, they should be on Rock Band. Get some of the best in there.

As far as power metal goes, I think Stratovarius would do a lot better than Kamelot. Though power metal has a way of getting old after a few songs, so a pack or a few singles would do.

I very much agree with this thread. Kamelot is, in my opinion, the best band EVER. As such, I would pay far more money than is reasonable to see their music as DLC, especially Center of the Universe, Karma, When the Lights are Down, and The Human Stain.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who wants to see Kamelot. I would love to get DLC from them. I'm a bit surprised that no one has mentioned On the Edge of Paradise yet. But I'd be cool with whatever: Karma, Forever, or most anything from Epica, The Black Halo, or Ghost Opera would be great. Center of the Universe, The Haunting or, maybe, the Human Stain would be logical choices, I think.

Their newest album is not too far away from a release (March 22nd), so we might see Rock Band responding with a 3-pack, or at least singles. Otherwise, RBN might not be a far away possibility.

I'm not sure if they're popular enough to get a full album as DLC, but I could be wrong because I don't know them too well. Because their song with most views on Youtube has 3 000 000 views and Dragonforce only has two tracks on RB and their two songs on RB have, one: 37 000 000 views and two: 5 000 000 views and the kamelot video was released one year earlier than the Dragonforce songs, so that's one more year of time to get views but it's less than both DF tracks.

As much of a Kamelot fan as I am, I have to admit I think that unless their label decides to plug them via RB, they're most likely not a band HMX would actively pursue, and RBN would be a better way of getting them into the game. Their singer Khan leaving the band probably adds another layer of difficulty as well if he owns any part of the rights to the songs.
