Ok pirates, who out there has been notified about downloading DRM-protected content before? I'm proud to have just joined the fraternity myself. I got flagged for having a copy of a True Blood episode on my computer...sneaky HBO.... Since it's my first "official" offense (first time I've been caught), I just got a warning from my ISP to delete the file and not do it again.
To my defense, an overwhelming majority of the tv shows that I download, I ultimately end up buying on DVD (like 80-90%), so while I may be "stealing" premium tv, I do end up giving my money to them. Bottom line, I'd avoid downloading HBO shows...
Anybody else ever get flagged?

I was like 3 years ago for a psp copy of Fantastic 4 for a lawyer that I worked with. Also avoid stuff from Fox and use Peer Guardian at the least when you surf. Also what were you using to get it.

That's the thing...torrents. Bittorrent to be exact and torrentz.com. PLUS the file was uploaded by EZTV, supposedly the most trustworthy name in tv downloading. But there was a code within the video file that HBO put in there to track and it nailed my IP address.

Sorry, but I don't think the illegal downloading of files is an appropriate topic for this forum.
