Stuck character picture

One of my Rock Band characters sticks with a character picture that I deleted a long time ago. No matter how many times I manually go to that picture to delete it, or try to replace it with a new character picture by setting it so, it just sticks with the old picture.

I am having the same problem with a band picture, even after I deleted it and tried to replace it with a new one I took.

Same here. One of my characters (the one I use in fact)is stuck on this really "great" band pic of some random guys jumping around. I have deleted it, taken new pics set them as my character pic, set the pics that the website keeps randomly generating as my character pic. No dice. Im just stuck with this incredibly awesome band pic. Haha.

Just posting to say I have the same problem. I've tried editing his current picture (which doesn't show up in his "pictures" list, by the way, yet still somehow shows up as the character picture), and creating a new one. Whenever I try to change his picture, it says that it's been done but it doesn't take effect. At one point I deleted all of his pictures, including his current character picture, maybe that's what caused it (i.e. his current picture was deleted from the album and got "stranded" somehow)?

Also, sometimes when I open up the photo creator some of the elements of the interface don't load (e.g. the effects and background selectors and character/band selector frame), but I don't think that's related.

Yet anohter one who has this problem ...
No matter how many times i tried to set a recent photo as default char. picture, it stays as this generic guy with a goatee pointing off into space ... it tells me my pic has been updated but i go back and look he's still there .... blahh

the generic photo is NOT in my picture lists and i've tried editing that pic, it shows my toon on the preview but saves as the generic ... double blahh

I'll go ahead and add my name to the list. I am having the same problem with one of my band pictures, the problem is that the picture that displays is the correct pose (face and body), but the character looks like the stand in character (the one you pose) just with a different outfit. The background is also wrong as well. No matter how many different ways I try to change the default band picture it remains as that one.

I have this issue as well...my band photo is some random character with an orange afro that I've never seen before in a pose I've never used against a background that I've never used...I have a photo I want to put there but it's stuck on the generic guy

One of my characters has the same problem of having a picture of three random guys jumping against the wall background. Another has the problem of having some guy against the sun background. The best part is that neither of these pictures appears in my "My Pictures" section, Neither will be overridden by the "Set As Character Picture" option, and neither has the "Delete Picture" function. Is it possible for admins to go in and kill things that don't belong to the account to which they are linking?

One of my characters just "fixed" itself. The pic that was stuck reappeared in my gallery and I was able to change his default pic finally! Thanks Harmonix?

My stuck band pic is still stuck. Hope this helps.

Edit: As stated before feel free to use my account to test on if it will help.

The default pics for one of my bands is still stuck on some picture of what's probably someone else's character/band, no matter how many times I've changed the default pic. I even "deleted" that other person's picture, but it still shows up as my band's default pic.

I've got a couple of my own characters whose default pics I can't change. The weird thing is that it spontaneously stopped working mid-session; I changed one character's pic successfully, then couldn't change the next two. Since then I've been able to change all my other characters, but every attempt to change these two particular ones hasn't worked, even if it says "This is now the default picture for this character."

It's been a while since this thread was updated, but any word?

I've been getting lots of random pictures from who knows where, sometimes for characters I haven't made my own pics for yet, and sometimes they replace the ones I had. Today was the first time I got one that is completely undelete-able. And it's some weird Papa Smurf lookin' thing taking the place of my hot guitarist chick... it's just not right.

Anyway... he doesn't show up in the regular gallery, just as the character pic for that one character and I have no way to delete it. The only option for me is to "take another picture" I believe... and that fails to replace it no matter how many times I try to set the picture as the character picture.

I get stuck with an annoying random female character that I didn’t create, nor does she belong to a friend. I can’t delete her either. There are always two pictures of her, always the same. She is listed under a male character and is be default his character picture… it’d be nice to delete her out of existence. I'm not the only one with this isse and and just want it to go away…
