Rock Band guitar double strumming?

Not sure why this is happening but when I strum up (or down for you lefties), it double strums. Strumming down (or up, for you lefties again) works fine, but the other way double strums (meaning you hit 1 note and miss 1 note virtually every time).

It works if you gently press it up, but thats kind of impossible to do in fast songs.

Anyone have the same problem or know whats up?

This has happened to me as well. It's only happened a few times, but I have definitely noticed it. Pisses me off to no end, but it doesn't happen all the time, so whatever.

I probably won't use the rock band guitar anyway, the gh3 guitar is waaaaaay better.

i agree with u jarmer, this new guitar sucks, it started double strumming almost immediately right out of the box... why isn't the gh3 guitar compatible?
