Do you ever wonder if HMX even KNOWS one of your favourite bands?

Here's the thing: tastes are so broad it's hard to get everything - it's pretty much a fact. Me personally I can easily say that my favourite artist is the Marvelous 3/Butch Walker - hands down. Thing is he's never really been a hugely popular artist, staying firmly in the "10,000 buyers club" as he once put it.

That being said I'll probably never see any Butch Walker or Marvelous 3 - unless they throw in "Freak of the Week" their one big single from back in '98 - and that makes me sad... I would buy EVERYTHING from Butch Walker and Marvelous 3.

But Mastodon I've liked since a LITTLE before their announcement on RB2.

But anymore Mastodon would rule. HMX really needs to touch into their first two albums or the Lifesblood EP I would LOVE to play Hail to Fire (with the redneck intro of course)
But other than COlony we need some deep cuts like I Am Ahab, Siberian Divide, Workhorse etc. while add in some hits like Blood and Thunder, Iron Tusk and March of the Fire Ants.


Bands not in Rock Band though... I will easily have to go with Porcupine Tree... just love the sound

One of my favorite bands works at harmonix, so I think they're aware.

My abfab fave band (not to be confused with AT fave band, Lush) is the gathering, who I can maybe assume someone at harmonix knows (especially since they put lacuna coil in there, who toured the US with them last year), but i have no clarification on that.

As for me I'm sure they've at least heard of Pantera. Who hasn't? Weather or not they're working on some of their songs for rb...time will tell I guess!

I loved that priestess song from GH3, that was the first I had heard of them, I need to check them out. Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Down, Desert Sessions, Corrosion of Conformity and Karma to burn are all along the same lines. I wonder sometimes if harmonix even reads half the posts, they're bombarded daily by usually the same requests that won't happen...harmonix, if your out there give us a sign that your still listening....

I'm sure someone that works on RB at least knows who Butch Walker/Marvelous 3 are, which would be pretty sweet to see in the game.

As for me, I'm willing to bet HMX has heard of Tool and Led Zeppelin. Just a hunch.

Also, I'd like to hope that someone at HMX knows Ours (one of my favorites, but widely unknown). But it wouldn't realy surprise me if they did or didn't.

Personally I'd love some Slightly Stoopid on RB but I'm not sure how big they are outside of the southwest U.S. I know they've heard of Sublime and I'd loooove to get some of their songs in RB.

I can name bands that HMX might not even be aware of, that I would love to see in RB but probably won't. On the other hand, they keep throwing in these bands I've never heard of, and which seem rather obscure to me, so who knows...maybe there is hope.

I from Midwest US, I know of Slighty Stoopid, they are dope, well known around here.
