This is actually the opposite of a question I've seen on the forums. (i.e.: Can I use my MIDI drum kit to play RB).
Can I use the RB Drum Kit as a MIDI Drum set. It has USB, and the drums should be easy to remap to the right midi notes, but does the RB kit have velocity information? That is, does it send info on how hard you are hitting the pad in addition to when you are hitting the pad?
Thanks.

nope.....,...It's merely a peripheral controler basically, it doesn't have anyother type of electronics that can reproduce sound.

Oh well. Didn't think so. Still, I should be able to use it to play in some drum patterns and edit the velocity manually.

I'm pretty sure you could configure it to work with EZDrummer but it will take a bit of work. It could work. Just no velocity.

midi controllers dont produce sound. you use a synthesizer or synth software to do that.
if you can set it up as a game controller in windows than there are ways to make it work with any synth software.
