XBox 360 Headset...where do I plug it in on the Drums/Guitar??

I have no mic. stand (yet) so until then I just wanted to use my regular old XBbox 360 headset with the mic so I could practice at playing at singing at the same time. Problem: Where do I plug it in at on the Drums and/or Guitar??

And do I have to use my regular controller to activate the headset to use as a microphone?

Any help would be appreciated! Thnxs!

Plug it into the 360 CONTROLLER.

the guitar and drums have an adapter for the headset, the mic uses the controller.
