Anyone else anticipating Fable 2?

What do you guys think about it. IGN has been covering the aspect of the skills for Guns, Magic and Sword combat. I played the original game and was hooked immediately. I don't care if it didn't live up to all the expectations, it was still an amazing game.

I got the First one on launch. Stayed up all night playing it and beat it in one sitting. I was little dissapointed at the length and being confind in Fable.

I got the Lost Chapters it was great for the Dragon fight. PLus it only cost me 10 bucks.

Now onto part 2. I am loving how I can score items and weapons for the game before I get it. I have the CE pre-ordered and I can not wait for my halo armor xD.

I don't know about local multiplayer. Magic is one of the aspects that make the game diverse by having options of being anything.

I always go with the good path because it actually makes me feel bad to consider being a complete jerk, even in a game.

I like playing evil, because the responses from the NPCs are much better, but I generally don't like the physical changes that playing evil causes. It wasn't too bad in KotOR (although my evil guy looked more like he was on a bad acid trip than he did evil), but the whole horns thing in Fable is kinda silly. Especially since I plan to play as a female character my first time through.

One of my friends said that he was going to go into my town and kill my spouse. I told him no he won't because I will have a male spouse and then it would be a hate crime on his part. He then said he wouldn't.

That was awesome, but not the best Dark Side option. The best was in KotOR 2 when you were on Onderon, and these soldiers were harassing a reporter.

Close second was on Nar Shaddaa, when you can force persuade a guy to "Give me all your credits, then throw yourself into the central pit". The one that made me feel most like a bastard was towards the end, though, if you tell Visas to sacrifice herself when you fight Darth Nihilus. She just calmly says, "So be it. My life... for yours.", and then dies. I never felt so disgusted with myself.

On-topic, Fable was awesome, and Fable 2 should be as well. I hope to God it's longer than the first, though. Even with the Lost Chapters, Fable was shamefully short.

Apparently the pub games cheat which Molyneux claims was intentional (even though they patched it) has only a minor effect on your character's purity, which you can easily reverse. At least, that's what I've gathered from the Fable message board on IGN.

But there appears to be another glitch which is tied into your character's ability to earn money while the game is turned off (through jobs I guess). If you set the 360's clock way ahead, when you restart the game, you have mucho dinero. I'm guessing this will be patched as well, since people who get their panties in a bunch about how you play your single player game have to ***** and moan about it.

judging by that link there are no issues, they just have to pass the cert. and xbox live wasn't the hold up before, lionhead had issues on the dev side. that's the last I read of it, anyway. if the situation has changed since then, then please, link me so that I may be more informed.

For the money cheat, setting your clock ahead... does anything happen when I fix the clock?

My understanding is that setting your clock ahead works because you get income from your investments every 5 minutes: game on, or off. The game probably compares the current time to the time of your last save, and awards money accordingly. I don't imagine it's sloppily programmed so that the game subtracts money if time went backwards... but, you never know.

My concern is, has anyone finished the game, and can you comment on how long it is? The original Fable was criminally short, even with the Lost Chapters. I'd hate to shell out $70 for Fable 2 LE and have it be over that soon again.

Anyway, I'm going to be getting Fable 2 in a few hours. If they still have the LE (likely, it's a small town), then that's what I'll get.

I never played fable 1, but my friend matt invited me over to play Fable 2 after school and it's AMAZING. I'm buying it next week
