Fret Button "Modding"

I get lost in the fret buttons, espically going to the "solo" ones, and end up with my fingers out of wack. My gamertag on 360 is Ant 612 if you have questions about my GH3 skill, check that. Not the best by any means, but if I can easily beat expert and expert coop, I feel like I shouldnt be getting tripped up by where my fingers are.

The "sand bumps" aren't cutting it--- so I'm considering finding some sort of thin rubber and putting gluing it onto the middle buttons.

Anyone else have ideas regaurding getting the fret buttons easier to identify?

You could try buying a roll of friction tape (http://www.thetapeworks.com/PT901.htm) and laying some strips down on 3 of the frets.

Maybe little dabs of hot glue on the buttons to act as bumps? It's cheap easy and can be reversed. Not sure how long they'd manage to stay on before getting knocked off though.

well when they show that freestyle solo part i just use my strummin hand to press the buttons that way i can finish the exra points with ease
