How do I transfer Apps from my iPod Touch to my computer?

I bought the "App Store" thing for my iPod Touch so I could download Apps directly to it without a computer. I've downloaded about $30 worth of Apps and I'm just wondering how to even update my iPod without losing my Apps. I'm afraid I'll have to pay for them again or something. What exactly do I have to do in iTunes before syncing to ensure that they won't be GONE FOREVER?

you should be able to just plug it in to iTunes with out loosing thoose apps. I know when i update my phone my apps dont get erased.




Altho come to think of it i did activate the manualy update thing so that might be the trick.

Mine just saves it to my computer when I hook up my ipod. You should be fine and not have to buy them again.
