i think i have a bad guitar. i know it doesnt click like gh3 controllers do, and i know it was designed like this. however it seems like when i strum it doesnt pick up everything. like when some thing is played on medium and goes fast i can't it any notes only one or 2 if im luicky. ive tried feather touch it and massive force. whats up with these controllers? anyone else have same issues. i think i might get a new one. what do you guys think? ohh yeah i got it from walmart so maybe thats it lol

i'm on ps3 and i feel the same way. sometimes though, i can get it working well so it's obviously something you have to adjust to. though guitar hero controllers are definitely easier to do faster strumming as far as i can tell, i still love the guitar for rock band, just need some practice with it.

ya, im experiencing this two. im on ps3, btw. it seems to register better when i strum upward, rather then the normal downwards motion most people do. gets really annoying sometimes. who knows.

ok so on the other big board playstation forums. i read that routers may cause badstrumming because of the dongle ( should have used blu tooth). anyways not much we can do for now. but after doing that i thought it got better but i failed at the first song on med. i played it again and i finally got into a rythum that worked for me. i was using more of my thumb and going faster to strum it and not so hard as i do on guitar hero and i got like every note down.93%. this is not at all like GH3 or any of them. GH is fatser and meant to be that way for challenges, i still can't beat slash on med and cant play hard. but anyways the point is that there is a different rythum to this game than gh3. once you got it down the game really is enjoyable. i was having buyers remorse and well was getting pissed off but after a while i found my rythum and im happy i got it. im gonn try GH3 later tonight and see if i can go from playing that to going back to rock band. anwyays i cant wait untill i have friends over to rock out with my well wont be doing that unless theres hot chick present. hopefully someday we can use the les paul on rock band but hey they never got around fixing gh1 and 2 for ps3 so as i see it and its an easy patch fix, they just wont do because of $$ and competition. the guitar does feel pretty cheap though, hopefully it last.

I've come across this issue a couple times, the song that comes to mind where it was really pissing me off was Detroit Rock City.

I'm fearful my guitar may already be broken. Strumming DOWN, there's a definite problem. It "quits" the note/chord. So you get part of the chord playing and then it just cuts out. Obviously this is very evident on the long chords. We had no problem until late this evening. Then it just started to go out. So far, strumming up is still working (I assume it's a bad sign that when I lift the guitar I can hear something small moving/clicking around inside of the guitar).
