I'm a little too far from the GTA myself, and more importantly far too busy with a major critical book review to leave town myself.

But I love the idea of a group of Canadian RB fans getting a van (or something) and crossing the boarder as a group seeking RB units.

More power to you if you can get it to work. I think you'll be in for some fierce shopping this weekend though, they go crazy for the whole Black Friday deal. After Friday, it might be harder to find a copy in stores.

But, with appropriately set expectations, and an agreed upon priority system if you find fewer units than group members (driver/car owner gets first dibs IMO) you should do it for the chance at epic Canadian win.

of course they'd be a system and if we couldn't get it organized by Friday there would be no point ideally a Very early morning incursion across the border on Friday would be the best bet as they stores that were holding stock would have it out IE: Best Buy and its 5 am opening

haha this is a mission and a half, its like coming to canada on boxing day. If your doing this i advise you leave at like midnight the night before, is best buy is opening at 5 ppl will start going in the early hours of the morning. The line will be massive unless you get their atleast 2-3 hours before.

Make sure they'll actually have copies too. Nothing worse than fairing the line only to find out they dont have any.

To save any confused American's from needing to ask, GTA, in this case, is Greater-Toronto Area.

Just thought I'd mention that.

I'm waiting until the official canadian launch so I don't have to worry about warranty woes from having a US model. Otherwise I would be tempted to go.

I hear no worries about that warranty issues are many but i do here harmonix is working on that. but then again harmonix also said the release date for Canada was the 20th of December all along... but back on topic

haha ye i braved a boxing day line at wal mart last year to get my xbox 360 for $399 (it sold for $499 then). I got there early so i was like 10th in line but by the time doors open there musta been 500 ppl, i literally sprnted to the electroics sections, lol.

And that wal mart line was nothing, i saw thousands at future shop and best buy at like 5 am

I would love to but I know my mom wouldn't even consider the thought of it. Good luck on the journey and if you happen to score some extras, tell me ;)

I live 15 minutes away from the border, but my lolely mother wont take me under any circumstance.

Damn my laziness to get my liscence.

Yeah I saw some of those BB Boxing Day lines around here. I was going to go for opening too because I didn't think there would be a line. (Silly Me!) All i wanted was some recordable DVDs they had on sale too lol. The lineup was huuuge though. Atleast 300 people minimum and if I remember it was soggy out too.

aye well line can be combated with preparedness's like getting their real early but as it stands...

1. we need a driver
2. more people interested who can go
3.people willing to abide by the driver first then everyone else for themselves rule.

Do to a lets say change in my jobs definition the ability for me as well to afford a car at this time is not plausable
