View Full Version : Confirmation email from EA?

Has anyone received an email confirmation that their replacement has shipped (or an email saying anything at all about it)? I did the express replacement thing at about 9am yesterday, and I got an RMA # but no tracking number. So today I called and they said that I should still get a confirmation email with the tracking number when it ships today. That was around noon time and I still haven't received any email. Anyone get one yet?

Well I just did a replacement order for my guitar and they gave me a tracking number and RMA number, but no confirmation e-mail. I went to UPS.com and entered the tracking number, and that's good enough for me I guess. I'm surprised you didn't get a tracking number.

Hey, I have a quick question for those of you who have ordered a replacement under warranty. The guitar that came in my bundle does the thing where it counts one down strum as several, But the upstruming seems to be working ok. I am gonna get ahold of the warranty dept and get a new one. My question is, Do I have to send my old guitar back before they send the new one or do I send it back after I get my new one? It still works fine for upstruming so I would be able to make due with it until the new one gets here, It would just suck to be without one until then. Thanx

Well if you do express replacement, they need a credit card and they make a charge to it but do not finalize the charge. This is to ensure that you send the defective guitar back. Once you get the new guitar in the mail, you send back the defective guitar in the same box. You have up to 28 days to send back the guitar or else the charge gets finalized.

I'm sure they're quite backed up, especially with express shipping.
I actually did normal shipping, considering how much I just charged to my credit card yesterday :p
I've got the strat so i'll last until then.

I'm not really concerned with how long it will take them to ship it out...I'm concerned whether they really received my request at all. I put in my request at 9 AM on release day, which must have been before they got everything on the support site working because I didn't get a UPS tracking number after I submitted my info. So in theory I should get my replacement around Monday if they are really sending one out to me like the lady on the phone said...otherwise I'll have to wait until Friday to try to request one again.

Nah it stills says that. But it does they received by billing information and it says shipping to my town.

Well most likely $80 (the price of the guitar or drums) and $20 handling fee.

Well i am worried about trying to do the replacement because i foolishly took apart my guitar to try to fix the strum bar. So they might see that and void my warranty and charge me for the new guitar. I really hope that this doesn't happen, maybe its not my fault because the guitar shouldn't break the first 1 hour of playing it.

i sent in my request today.. it gave a confirmation number so hopefully that means it's on it's way. For now, I have my GH3 wireless guitar that works perfectly.

I haven't gotten my confirmation email yet. I wasn't able to write down the tracking number either because as I was searching for a pen I somehow ended up closing my internet window so now I don't have a tracking number or confirmation email.
I got pwn't :(.

Yes, the explorer will work with rock band.

When I filled out my replacement guitar, it quoted charging 125$ total to the credit card, I just did normal though cause who knows what will happen between shipping it out if it gets lost in UPS shipping hell or in a warehouse at EA, not willing to risk 125$ lol :D

I haven't gotten the email yet either, and I put in my request at about 10am on Tuesday morning. The lady on the phone yesterday said I should get one when it shipped (supposedly yesterday). I'm guessing that the holiday just screwed everything up but I'll probably call again tomorrow to check.
