Created Character Issue

one annoyance i have with Rock Band is the fact that the created characters AREN'T UNIVERSAL! i created one for guitar last night and me and my buddy were playin, him on drums. so later on i was like ok i wanna try drums now. i figured we could just swap profile slots at the Join Band menu in multiplayer, but obviously not. i had to play as my friend's character. i know theres no stats tracking or anything like that, but if your gonna have the option to use ur created characters in multiplayer, this needs to be fixed. i didnt make my guy all snazzy just to not use him...

Yeah, I found that to be a little bit lame, too... Why is it necessary to assign an instrument to a created character? What, characters can't be multi-talented? I've had to make the same exact character three times with the same name (only different letters capitalized each time) just so I can always be "me" no matter what instrument I decide to play! A total waste...

annoyed me as well, not as much as my guitar not working but still annoying.

It's really annoying when you have younger kids like me and their attention span is about 5 seconds long and one is left handed too, so I have to make the guitar righty for someone else and swap the profiles around.

I just wish you could use 1 character and select what you wanted to play then simply use the necessary instrument, but with the 360 profiles thing I am just unsure how that would work.
