Can I disable the kickpedal?

I can't really use it, especially not at high speeds. An IED out in the desert kinda saw to it. I can push down on it, but not with any sort of rythym. Anyhow, I only really like playing drums, but the kickpedal makes it so I really suck. Is there any way to get it so it kicks for itself or disables or something?

Yeah really.... I wish there was a way and I think there is cause those best buy demos had it disabled

I beat 2 songs on medium with the drums w/o using the pedal at all because my leg hurts because of a certain hillbilly 10 minute long crap songs drums
