How to permanently remove band member?

I have a band that has progressed quite nicely. However, the neighbor kid thought it would be funny to add a profane name for himself in our band. Now his name is available to select anytime we go in to select our players. I would prefer that name to not show up in the list any longer, as I think it may offend others that may come over to play/watch. How can I remove this name permanently from the system?

You have two options, actually. You can rename the character or you can remove the character altogether. Both are in the Manage Data option of the main menu, under Options.
