RB2 for PS3 DLC not working launch day

When chosing any DLC song in RB2 on the PS3, as its trying to load from the menu's to the playing stage it stops about half way thru and this message appears.

"The song data you were accessing has unavailable and the game cannot proceed without it. Your game session has restarted."

Anyone else get this error or is it just me?

figured it out, read below....



Try deleting the Rockband 2 file in your Gamedata Utility folder, NOT YOUR ROCKBAND 1 FILE AS IT DOES CONTAIN YOUR DOWNLOADED SONGS!! AND NOT YOUR SAVED GAMES FOLDER EITHER.

Guess if you downloaded songs in rockband 2 you might have to redownload them, but for most of us our DLC should be in our RB1 file anyway.

I bought RB oct 19 at midnight and had a bunch of issues, never noticed it installs a very small file about 1-5 mb if I recall in size. Out of slim chance I thought it might be corrupt I deleted it and restarted rockband 2 and presto, half my issues no longer exsist.

Sorry if it doesnt fix your issue for now, but figured I'd post this for what its worth.

Sorry, my DLC (when accessed through the Tour) all seem to work fine so far.
