We Canadians felt a bit sore and left out when we heard about the one month delay,but after what I've heard I have come to believe this is a good thing.It looks more like you Americans have become HMXs beta testers.I dont mean to poke fun here but this has turned out to be a bigger mess then when GH3 was released.I'm curious to know what the failure rate of the strat over all is?

Then theres the bigger issue PS3 vs 360.

This game was made for the 360 not PS3 and that is quite obvious!Since the Strat is junk and the strum bar stoppes working after a few hours, then just grab your old Xplorer or Les Paul........that is if you have the 360.

But if you have the PS3 .........No such luck for you.Your just stuck with your broken strat!O sure your send it to EA and they will give you a new one, but how many hours will it work before the same thing happens again?PS3 is left with NO OPTIONS!

I truley doubt that EA/HMX/MTV are going to have the hardware problem fix for the Canadian release!Now if they for some reson recalled the strats and replaced them with a quality guitar that would be one thing .But we all know thats not going to happen!

So as a Canadian I'm left here wondering why is should be RB for my kids for XMAS?
1) I'm a PS3 owner so all my other guitar controllers will not work.

2)How long will the STRAT work for before it's broken?

Am I going to buy a product with such a high failure rate?Unless there are other controller options such as the Les Paul ,then it would only be foolish to go and knowly buy a defective product.

So unless the hardware issue is fixed before the Canadian release then any Canadian with a PS3 is taking a risk buying this game.

And to HMX if you value your PS3 customers then there had beter be a remedy soon as we PS3 owners have 0 options.And I will not buy this game on Dec 20 if there are still controller issues or NO other controller options.

you are partly right. Maybe its good that Canada doesn't get the game next month and Europe and other places till next year. That means that all the kinks should be kicked out of the game by then. Maybe even a solo World Tour will be included via a patch and the great promotion they did for the States will be done in each Region.

I certainly can't wait for the Canadian Rock Band promotional tour!

I bought the Guitar Hero song packs, and When I get Rock Band next week I will buy all the packs. Maybe it's unfair but I'll live with it..

I drove the hour to buffalo and bought it at best buy. Last copy at the walden galleria. Reached the border at 8am, no lineup whatsoever it was great.

The game is awsome except the mic that was included doesn't work for me so I have to use the headset. I'll send back the mic this week for a replacement per the instructions in the box.
