Drum Pedal Issue?

The four pads are working in the game, but the drum pedal isnt. Whenever I press on the pedal, the golden line doesnt light up, respond or make a sound.

What is the problem? Am I connecting it right?

Where did you plug it in? It needs to be plugged into the Orange port on the back of the drums, not the black one.

I would just like to post to say I have the same exact problem. Everything else is working on the drum set (including the PS button, directional buttons, etc). The only thing not working is the pedal.

And I'm very sure it's in the correct port.

Yeah, mine is in the correct port as well. Still no luck. I tried to reconfigure, I tried to reconnect, I deleted all the info off my system and then restarted. Nothing.

I posted in another thread that only about 50% of time or less does the pedal register...what is up with that?

I would like to know if this is a drum set problem or just a problem in the pedal?

By the looks of it I'll have to get one or both of them replaced.

Well.. most people are having problems with the pads and not the pedal.

i have the exact problem with my padels..
its the CONNECTOR problem.. if u hold in the connector, it will work and fail again after cuz hitting the drums make it lose...

I'm having the same issue, the pedal just won't register a hit. I failed the first song I played and felt sick, I thought that it was my pads and I'd have to go without drums for a while, but I decided to try my RB1 pedal in the orange port and the bass came out gloriously. What could cause a pedal to just straight up not work?
