In rock band can you choose what instrument you want to use in solo career mode?

If you have friends over at your house can you all play together for example one man on drums, one man on vocalist, bass, and guitar?

If so, what if you only have 1 friend over can you guys still play but not with all the instruments or vocalist?

For the PS2 version can you play online by joining bands or challenging other members?

If you can play online can you only challenge and join bands with the ps2 or other consoles?

PLEASE HELP ME I'M CONFUSED I DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD GET THIS FOR CHRISTMAS OR GH3!

1. There is a separate solo career mode for each instrument except for bass.

2. Yes

4. Probably not.

I'm not sure i do have the 360 but it just broke for the second time(stupid red lights) and we have to send it back so its not that dependable. But for ps2 there are some games you can play online. Like the madden and college games plus sotcom maybe this is wireless for ps2.

oh yeah I just remebered that my cousin likes to play madden online lol
