Wast here any PS3 Demo's sold by mistake?

Just wondering if wal-mart accidently sold any PS3 Demo's, looking at a acution on ebay and just making sure that its not the demo.

Yes.
I went to Best Buy yesterday. They didn't get their shipment, gave me a rain check.
Then I went to Wal-mart, and they told me they were sold out. On the way out I saw a PS3 bundle behind the information counter. I asked if it was for sale, the lady told me yes. I asked her why it was returned, she said that the person meant to get the 360 version. So I bought it and opened it up in the car, it was totally the demo version.

I returned it and then this morning I went to Best Buy and got the real thing.
