I don't want to play through single player and I will have a bunch of people over tomorrow so I'd like to have numerous songs to choose from. I don't want the DLC songs either. Is there a code to unlock all the tracks without doing single player?

Here ya go, bro.
Quickly press Red, Yellow, Blue, Red(2), Blue(2), Red, Yellow, Blue at the title screen when "Press Start" appears. Enabling this code will disable game saves.

how exactly does disable game saves work?
id like to have all the songs playable from the quick play menu for group of friends without unlocking everything so this would work. but does it permanently disable game saves screwing up everything ive already done?
or is it reset every time you turn off the system. so like each time you turn it on you would have to enter the code, otherwise you start the game as normal with saves and all.

It resets after to turn of the system.
Like the codes in GH1-80s.

or
you COULD spend a mere 5 hours playing the solo tour with the mic on medium and have all 58 songs, which is what i did today :D

yeah i tried playing guitar on medium to clear all the songs but i only had less than 2 hours so i only got through 25-30 songs. then i went to a friends house and we had to start from the beginning cuz you cant copy the game save on the ps3 version. that's why i wanted to know more about the code...on friday we'll have another rock session, but we still dont have everything unlocked.

is it just me or is this not working?? I have tried the code on the guitar and the drums, but nothing, I still have my same songs(which is not all of them). And yes I am doing the code at the screen where it says "Press Start"

in case youre thinking the red2 and blue2 mean the alternate buttons, i believe they were just short cutting "red, red, blue, blue"

I have tried to get this to work as well, with no luck. Do we have to strum these notes, or just hit the correct button?
I have tried strumming and hitting the button by itself, but nothing is happening. Very frustrating and I have a group of peple over right now.

Yea I'm also unable to get this bad boy to work. Is there a chime or message that appears when the cheat is unlocked.
After inputing the sequence do I just press "START" on the controller?
Not sure why this isn't working.

I just did this on the Xbox 360 version and it worked without a hitch. I'm not sure if this works on the PS3.
Make sure you do it on the "Press Start" screen and feel free to use it on any of the guitars connected.
Also, the code has to be entered quickly. Any pause and you won't get it, so just tap away at a nice quick pace and when you get it you'll get a little screen blip to let you know the songs have been unlocked. The only buttons that need to be pressed are the fret buttons.
Hope that helped and props to the orignal poster/threads for this code!

supposively you have to do the code really fast. You can't just muddle through it and get it to work. So keep trying I guess.
