How the HELL do you connect the microphone?

we have been playing for days, and even using the wireless guitar from guitar hero, and can NOT figure out how to make the microphone work.

how does the controller work with the mic? I dont get it lol

Just turn the controller on when you start the game. If you do vocal solo or multiplayer, use the control to select A. In mp, the vocal will turn on instead of the guitar or drums.

Turn on a standard controller, and have the mic plugged in. If you don't have a controller turned on, it would be impossible to go through the menus or have a profile activated for the singer anyways.

By activating a standard game controller, the game will then know that there is a player ready to use the mic.

I don't even have the game yet, but isn't this covered in the manual?

It seems like one person per hour asks why they can't get their microphone working. Does nobody RTFM first anymore?

Check THAT forum for mic issues.

ok,so that means you have to plug in atleast three things then.the most things I have plugged into my ps2 was two controllers.this is a stupid question and i bet it has already been answered but were am I supposed to plug in the third thing?

I had problem wit my rock band beatles mic . So i hooked it up through my headset and it worked. Then i took an old mic from my ps2 rockband plluged it in to my xbox 360 and it worked . So people ur not goin crazy! The mics there sellin in the rockband beatles packs are defective! Dont try to bring it back to the store you have to mail it to harmonix and request a new one.
