View Full Version : 360: 4 player. BWT - 4 Gamertags?

This isn't one of the threads about being able to switch instruments...

If I have 3 other people over to play Rock Band (say non-video game people), is it correct that I have to create 3 XBOX LIVE SILVER accounts for my friends to sign in under? Am I right that I can't find a "GUEST" login?

No, band members can be associated with any XBL account, including your own.

You can just have yourself signed in as whatever your current account is. The other players can either sign in with accounts, or just go as guest accounts. I think everyone will have to make an in-game character (which will, I am assuming, save under your account).

No, you don't need te other three people to have any type of account.

Wow, for some reason I couldn't do this before, but now it works! It just says "ADAMBOMB629's ROCKER" and I can just create a new character. THanks guys.

I don't recall the exact series of steps, but basically I just started up the game, went to BWT and chose our band. Then you pick who plays what instruments (with the leader locked on to whatever he was originally set as). If anyone ever had to sign on to anything, it was just me before starting BWT.

You can have others sign in as guests by having them press the xbox guide button, then going to the sign in screen.

I noticed this as well.

It has to do with who the group leader is when you made the band. The instrument for that character has to be the first recognized controller by the game. Basically, the group leader needs to be the first recognized controller, then the others can join in.

I'm not sure if that made any sense since I'm at work and can't look at it, but hope it helps.

Well does everyone have to get a Silver Account to be on the leaderboards? Me, my GF, and her sister are doing BWT, and my GF's Sister is the only one without atleast a silver acct., and i cant find us anywhere on the leaderboards
