Why was rock band not released for Wii?
Why is it Wii is the most interactive console system and Rock band is the most interactive Rock Game and it is not rleased for the Wii?
Why does Microsoft pwn everyone with their money and ruin everyone's fun?
Rock Band + 500 dollar game system = no rock band.
Rock band + 250 dollar game system = rock on.
Rock band at my house? Nope. No rock here. Just me and my grandma singing into the toilet seat.
Thanks Rock Band Creators for the Wiitodded decision.

There is a good chance it will be released for the Wii, most likely not til early next year.

The wii is the poormans console.
Because it's priced lower? Some people like Nintendo's games and franchises (I love Mario and Metroid). Not everyone cares about playing every FPS like Bioshock, Halo, etc.

I figure the Wii is delayed because it was hard enough making peripherals and developing for PS2, PS3 and 360 as it is. If the Wii was in the mix, taking away peripheral production for other consoles, can you imagine how much MORE crazy the shortages would be?
I think they should have gone Wii over PS3, but HMX does have experience with PS2, so maybe that's why they went with that.
I am very sure that they won't overlook the Wii though. Look how well GHIII is selling, do you think EA will want Activision to have a monopoly on that platform? :)

I just got mine a couple of months ago. It sat a couple of weeks unplayed because I was trying to get through GHII on my PS2 before I got GHIII. Now that I have GHIII for my Wii (and Mario Galaxy), the Wii will be played a lot.
Don't forget the DS had a slow start too, and now it's booming. The same could happen for the Wii, now that developers are realizing that it's still selling like crazy after a year on the market.
Games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are the epitome of casual games (easy to pick up and goof around on without having to devote hours and hours to "get through"), perfect for the Wii.

perhaps you need to check your prices because the 360 has never cost 500 dollars in fact right now you can get the arcade system for like 280
for me the wii was fun for about a month and then i sold it, motion controlls get very old very fast

I work at a videogame store in California, we never have wii's in stock, and the Elite 360 is priced at $449.
Any more Questions?

The wii is selling better i give you that,
but the XBOX 360 is selling to the hardcore american gamer
while the wii is selling to little kids and in Japan
in my opinion the wii is a "Good deal for Moms to shut up their little kids"
With the library of games the 360 has its doing pretty well for its self, it has had a faboulus year.
I own both, because First party Nintendo games rock(Legend of Zelda, Metroid,SM galaxy,Super smash bros) but the delay is so great for these games.

um...check your sales numbers dude. Wii outsells BOTH PS3 and Xbox360 in America and every other place.
I have a Wii, 360, and PS2. I only have GH1 & 2 for PS2. I have a few games for 360, but it's mostly a Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and NHL 2k machine. We have just Wii Sports disc for Wii, but we have quite a few Virtual Console titles, and we plan to get Mario Party 8, Mario Kart Wii (when released), Mario Galaxy, and whatever else that comes out that is cool for the Wii.
The 360 is nice, but I've had an RROD, and There's really not any games I'm interested in other than NHL games and Mass Effect, as well as of course GH and RB. I prefer playing the Wii (well, I did until Rock Band came out), as do all of my friends and my gf.
Which console is better? That's an opinion.
Which console sells better? That's a fact: Nintendo Wii.

This might make you mad, but I'd say that the 360, on average, sells more to young people than the Wii. I also like the pretentious term "hardcore" gamer, as if people with PS3's and Wii's are less of a gamer, because they have other hobbies, and leave their house once in a while (:p). I think "FPS addict" is a better term, but that's just me.
As for the age ting, I know this isn't completely true, but it's based on my own observations of all the people I know or have seen with a system. I'm 23, but I'm among the youngest people I know that has a PS3. I know a good number of PhD students, and working professionals with PS3's. I haven't met a little kid with one, but then again, I don't hang out with little kids. On the other hand, the little kids I do know (don't ask) have a 360, not a Wii.
And as for the Wii, I know 5 people with Wii's, and their ages are 23, 26, 32, and two people that are ~50 (I think). So anyway, my point is that among my age group, among the people I interact with on a daily basis, more have a PS3 or Wii than a 360.
But to stay on topic, I'd like to see a Wii version of RB, but I can understand why it may never happen, or, if it does, why it could take a while.
