PS3 Strum Button Problems

The wireless controller on the PS3 feels fine, but sporadically when I strum DOWN on it it doesn't play. The frets buttons and strumming UP always work, just when I'm strumming down does it not play. Anyone else having that problem, and more importantly, does anyone know if it's covered by the games warranty?

You have strummed too much down and it needs to refresh by strumming up

Not really i have the same problem with my warbeast and i does that too me on RB3. But it fine in GD:RB, RB2, GH:WT, GH5, GH:WoR. no problem play rb3 doesn't strum down that well or hold sustain notes that well either.
