"Random Songs" Not Actually Random

I'm having an issue with my 360 copy of the game, namely whenever my band chooses Mystery Setlist or any gig with a random song component, we're always given Say It Ain't So and Here It Goes again, in that order. Changing cities doesn't affect it, and we can't find any in-game options that give us any clue as to why this is happening.

In an act of desperation, we rebooted the 360, and this appears to have cleared the issue.

Figured I'd post just in case this is happening to anyone else out there.

It also picks Wanted Dead or Alive and either Creep or Say it aint so. we are tired of playing dead or alive every 3rd song we play in mulitplayer.

Harmonix, is this a known issue that's being looked at? I think it's clear from several of the threads that have cropped up in this forum it's not a rare issue, and isn't dependent on unlocked songs.

could you tell me how many songs you have unlocked in solo that could have something to do with it.

Have you unlocked all the songs in the solo mode? I have and rarely I get the same songs in the random mode... However, there is an issue with randomness (Harmonix has commented on this).

As the above poster said, it may be just playing what you've unlocked. My mystery set lists have been very very random. I usually find myself praying that its not something from the final tier, as Im still trying to pass that on expert.

Yeah, I had a couple of beginners playing with me and Enter Sandman popped up as the first song. Ouch if you have just picked up the guitar for the first time let me tell you (even on easy).
