I picked up RB2 for the PS3 yesterday. As a lefty, one of the first things I noticed out of the gate is that there is no Gameplay Options menu under options. However, the manual states that this is an available option from which you can specify lefty mode (as it was in RB1).

Now, before everyone responds pointing out you can set lefty-mode once you create a character and start gameplay, I am aware of this and have done so. However, unlike RB1, lefty-mode *only* works during actual gameplay. Once I'm back in the menus (and using the guitar controller) everything is "reversed" (ie. when I strum down, the menu selection goes up).

Given that RB1 supported both a global and player specific lefty mode *and* the RB2 manual documents the Gameplay Options menu, which does not exist. I can only assume this is a bug.

I'm guessing there will be a patch VERY soon!

But ya... I was quite pissed that lefty only works during gameplay. Granted its not the end of the world, but it would be nice to have it how it should be.

I don't see a gameplay options in the main menu either... heres a screenshot of what I see in my options menu.

From what I gather, theres supposed to be a 4th block there...

From what I gather, theres supposed to be a 4th block there...

its not under options. when you select instrument, song , and difficulty. pause the game and you will see the lefty mode option

I know that, and it works for gameplay. But this is referring to the menu screens. It feels awkward to up-strum to move down on the menu and vice-versa.
