View Full Version : RB2 Instruments Extremely Sensitive

Anybody else noticed that their new RB2 instruments are extremely sensitive?

Guitar controller - The "fret" buttons and strum bar are both much more sensitive than the old RB1, probably too sensitive. I have to keep my fingers away from the fret buttons when in a menu because if I just lightly brush the green button then it will trigger, and I just barely have to touch it. Same with the strum bar, I've had to alter my playing a bit to exert a bit more control over it or I strum when I don't mean to.

Neither of these issues make me want to return the guitar. Now that I've adjusted to it I love the new guitar. But it does seem to be too sensitive.

Drum controller - I noticed that the green drum pad was triggering at the beginning of a song when I hadn't come close to touching it. Then, noticed that when in menus that things would get selected when I had never even touched the green button or the green drum pad. With a bit of testing it seems that the controller pad on the drums is just extremely sensitive and just not operating correctly. If I use the controller pad on the drums instead of the drum pads to navigate menus then the green button just starts triggering on its own and selecting things. I can just lightly touch the red button without triggering it and the green will trigger, it makes no sense, but have tested it several times and found it to be repeatable. The workaround is to just not use the controller pad, if I just navigate menus by striking the drum pads then it seems to operate fine and the green button won't trigger itself.

Once again, I wouldn't return the drums for this issue, but it is very odd and doesn't make any sense to me how that could happen.
