with so many people sending in for replacements, they must still have a lot of strats to send out. wondering why they couldnt just sell them separately now, especially for ps3 owners.

unless they're basically employing a lot of repairmen to fix the ones that are coming and and recycling these...so as one faulty one comes in, they fix it fast and send it out to another person who had a faulty strat.

wondering if they actually know what the real problem is and if there is a permanent fix. it would suck to have to continuously send it the strat...and what happens after the 60 day warranty?

It's common practice to stock up on replacements, even if it means you have less to sell. They aren't just fixing the old ones and sending them back out, because you can have them send you a new one before they receive the old one. Perhaps eventually they will start replacing broken ones with refurbs, but not yet.
