Cheap mic stands and drum thrones.

I looked at Target and a few other stores. I couldn't find any that had any cheap drum thrones or mic stands. I went to Schmidt Music and they wanted 60 for their cheapest mic stand, and about 70 for their cheapest drum throne. My question is where can i find cheap mic stands and drum thrones for around 30 dollars or less?

your problem is you are looking for music equiptment at target. Go to a local music store that will have mic stands for probably around 20 bucks, and dont forget the mic clip, thats important. without it u have a stick. I got a drum throne from my cousin who plays drums. i saw them on ebay for around 20 dollars though i believe.

I knew I should have just gone there first today. I went to every other place I could think of becuase I figured Guitar Center would be more expensive. I'll have to head up there on Friday before they are all gone from the mad rushes.

try ebay and amazon etc as well. I've found all kinds of crazy good deals at those places...you might be surprised (I bought about $1000 worth of brand new ice hockey gear for about $300 on ebay a couple years ago)
