View Full Version : Does the 360 USB guitar controller work on Rock Band PS3?

Just occured to me.

They're both usb. Both made by Harmonix, who support that "open standard" policy thing.

Has anyone actually tried this?

No, it's the way the guitar sends the info and the way the console recieves it. The PS3 doesn't know what the ABXY buttons are, only triangle square circle and X (but it still reads that button differently too) and since the fret buttons are mapped to the controller's buttons, it will not work.

Doh. Thanks for the update.

I guess that answers my question of whether I should get RB for the 360 or PS3.
