More fun than I expected. I had no prior experience to drum playing, but I started out on Medium. I beat the whole tour in one day without failing a song, and now I'm 1/3 through Hard.

Drums are also painful. My ass hurts from my chair, my ankle hurts from the pedal, and my left hip area is sore too.

I feel like an old man. Still, it's worth it.

Check out my review of the game too if you want. It's not really well written because I was watching Seinfeld at the same time.

I love the drumset. Not a drummer but so far I'm on drums due to the difficulty and I'm really digging it.

Question:

What's up with the cord from the bass pedal to the top of the kit? Am I doing something worng, because it seems to be at least a foot too short! I have to lower the kit to it's lowest point or the pedal hangs from the drum kit. Whats up?

Just some advice. I am a drummer by trade and I would recommend you go out and buy a drum throne if you are going to play for that long. It will force you into proper poster while sitting at the set. You can buy one as cheap or as expensive as you want. I buy all my gear from Guitar Center, and there you can actually sit on it before you buy it. Just some friendly advice:D

Just make sure you're mindful of your posture, your thighs are relatively parallel to the ground or higher, and your right ankle isn't unnecessarily torqued outward to play the pedal. That's really about the only ergonomic considerations you can make as far as your general position.

Fatigue will happen though, drumming is a physical activity! Just give it some time to learn how to use those muscles in that context and you'll feel better.

it may sound kinda stupid/weird, but I actually turn the pedal around so instead of lifting the front of my foot up, I lift the back of my foot up, and I dont have any problems with my ankle or foot getting sore. it works for me tho.

Much like I usually did with a new phone cable, I stretched it out a fair distance (and held it) before plugging it in, and that solved that problem.
