download songs?

Hey... I played RB1, loved it.. .just got RB 2 yesterday, but I heard you can download songs to play from RB 1?? any truth to that? I do miss those tunes...

All of the downloadable songs are backwards compatible. Also, if you downloaded songs from RB1, they show up in RB2's tracklist.

You will have to purchase an export key for the disk music and the export key does not allow you to download "Run to the Hills", "Paranoid", and "Enter Sandman".
I would love to see those three songs become DLC to make up for that later on.

What you've got to do is put in the original Rock Band disc. Go to the "options" section on the main menu. Look for something about transferring the songs onto the hard drive. Go to that, and then just go through the process. I believe it costs around 500 Microsoft Points (or $4 on PSN, I think). The only requirement besides the money is to have an online connection for your 360 or PS3, and the songs "Run to the Hills", "Paranoid", and "Enter Sandman" do not transfer.
