I was actually really surprised that, in the giant list of bands in the "Thread of Threads: Find Your Band Here!", there is NO link for the Cardigans!

So here's my Cardigans Three-Pack:

1) Been It
2) Step On Me
3) Lovefool

All from First Band on the Moon. I think that would be a good Rock Band pack, don'cha think?

I'd probably pick up Lovefool, but to be honest, I only see that one track being successful. They were pretty much 1 hit wonders.

I remember my introduction to the music of Swedish band, The Cardigans. I can tell you the time and place. I was a freshman in high school, and my class took a trip to the movie theater to see a screening of WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE'S ROMEO AND JULIET. Their hit song, Lovefool was blaring while Juliet is preparing to see her lover, Romeo in secret. I thought the song's infectious melody and cute vocals, from their female lead singer was so catchy! Also, the lyrics were border-line masochistic. They alluded to the foolishness that some women knowingly buy into in relationships, just to keep their partners, regardless of what damage they are being subjected to.

I chose the latter two songs after really looking into them~ but of course, Lovefool is a must as well

'Lovefool' and 'My Favourite Game' great for single songs, but I can't really think of a song to add to them. I'm glad nobody suggested the 'Iron Man' cover. (That was pure rubbish!)

The thing is, for the most part, The Cardigans are remembered as one-hit wonders of the 1990's. If HMX released a pack without "Love Fool", there would be hell on these forums. It would be like releasing a Spin Doctors song that wasn't "Two Princes". If they release more, that's awesome, but without Love Fool there would be a lot of poor sales.
