So, I was a bar doing karaoke with some friends and one of my buddies went up to do rocket man. We, of course, were all cracking up thinking about this 6'2 guy with long hair and a woodsman like beard doing some Elton John... Then watched in awe as he did a perfect Shatner version

If it weren't for the lack of bass part (Hell, the bass player can sit out an occasional song like the singer can), I'd absolutely love to have "I Can't Get Behind That". For obvious reasons.

I would happily have Shatner DLC at home, but only because I would take secret glee in inflicting it on my friends. This would go something like:

Me: "I will give up this microphone if you will sing a song on request."
Friend: "Sounds great, since you've only had it for the last THREE HOURS, you EVIL VOCAL HOARDER. What do you want me to sing?"
Me: "Shatner. SING LIKE SHATNER! MWAHAHA!"
Friend: "Please pass the booze."

All the RHCP songs are great for Shatnerizing for some reason. Especially a **** version of Sir Psycho Sexy is beyond funny.

Common People rocks, but I wonder if all the different artists involved would complicate its clearance. I like the subtle shatner tracks from "Has Been", like "It Hasn't Happened Yet", "Real", and "Together".
