The spring for my wammy bar disconnected and it just moves freely.

Personally, I would try to fix that myself. But really, if you have an xplorer and don't mind. Just send it into EA =\ Better getting a brand new guitar (might even be a newer model with a non-breakable strum bar) than to crack it open and not be able to fix it.
